SOLD for $50.00

I wanted a platter that looked like Leather, or that would feel like your best Saddle. I used Waterfall brown and raw Sienna to get this look from mastering Cone 6 Glazes (MC6G) fired ^6 Oxidation, electric kiln slow cool.

My donation Platter for High Prairie (Colorado Horse Park) Summer shows. They have a class for Adult riders both Hunter and Jumper so I thought it could go for either class? I think it turned out ok! And first place is ALWAYS a BLUE RIBBON!

Remember the pair of Cruets? Well I think I have the Blues…..<G> I did this set in tones of blues from MC6G Variegated blue, Field mouse brown and Clear liner glaze. Hummmmm

SOLD for $45.00

Cone ^6 Oxidation Firing, Electric Kiln, Slow Cool. I wanted something to make my bowls stand out a bit more and began experimenting with overlapping or layering glazes. I hope you can see the subtle purple on got here.

My goal on this set was subtle blues with a hint of brown. My last 2 sets were very bright, unlike my style so I wanted to go back to more of what I like.

This is alittle out there for me. A rather “Fancy” little jug!

I made a little “roller” to use for texture. I used my grandmother’s hand made lace design for the roller out of clay, than bisque fired it. Ta DAH a texture tool that is unique!
