Parker Show update

June 21, 2009 · 2 Comments

Good show in spite the “windy” weather on Saturday.  For about 4-6 hrs Artists were tying their tents to anything that wasn’t moving and we lost 2 artist’s and their tents.  Not a lot of artists at this show, about maybe 20 or so but there are folks out and about buying!

I really enjoy the neighbors at Parker, and my pottery sells well there.  I try and keep costs down and still sell a great product.  Even with all the windy on Saturday, and cloudy cold conditions, I managed to sell enough pottery to make this show worth wild.  I even have met a few new artists, one booth next to me that can recycle my pottery shards into pots, etc.Very helpful when a pot falls <G>

This artist is a landscaper from The Boulder Area and he makes his pots out of cement for Plants, etc.  So my shards will still have a home in his pots.

Today is the farmers market and the SUN is shining!  So hopefully a good day, however I have sold alot and need to make inventory for the next show.  Seems like I might not have enough pottery today if there are  a lot of folks out and about.  YIKES!
