So I am planning on selling at the Castle Rock Farmers Market (first time) next Saturday from 8:00AM to 12:00 noon. I thought I would make some pottery that is in SEASON so to speak. Raspberries, corn, veggies, etc.
Now I have been taught not to place holes in the bottom since glaze can tend to pool there and clogs them up. However, I am using a matt glaze so I thought I’d give it a try? I added little plates to catch the water or juice from the berries?
Than since I was on a roll, I made little cheese plates as well. I have seen some farmer’s GOAT CHEESE and thought this might be a hit?
I played around with the knobs on TOP as i think I have a nice runny glaze for these and it will look better on this shape? Maybe?
Lastly a few Soup Tureen’s they seem to be a hit with ladles.
