I was wondering who was eating all my Raspberries? I thought it was the birds because I saw them in the morning but than Yesterday I caught my little Yellow Lab named Otter RED PAWED! So today I thought I might try and take a picture of the little THIEF!

Here’s my Raspberry Bush.

My Raspberries that OTTER didn’t eat! You’d think I’d have a berry bowl but I sold them all. Need to make one for myself <G>.

And the Little Thief who’s supposed to be eating Less! Hummmmm

BUSTED! Heheheh oh well at least they taste good! I guess I can share, he can only reach the lower ones anyway! <G>

Normally I have my studio in the basement (garden level) and my kiln in the garage. Today, I wanted a change. So I brought up my wheel and began potting in my garage. I thought my neighbor’s would think I was really crazy but a few came over to check out what I was doing and to have a look at my work. Very Fun! I don’t really throw much in front of folks these day since I have a studio in my home and I’m not currently in a class or workshop.
I thought I might be “shy” at first and so I stayed a bit inside my garage instead of in the drive way, cooler really. After a few BIG BOWLS, always fun, I set to work on my mugs, berry bowls, cheese plates, platters, soup tureen’s etc. I thought well I could throw in front of folks, not so bad.
I got to say, the SUN did her part in helping dry things so I could trim in just a few short hours. Now that was unexpected. I have one more bisque load and than at least 2 glaze loads before Sat. My Sweet kiln is working over time for this Farmer’s market in Castle Rock on Saturday 8:00am-12:00 noon.
I stopped by this Last Sat to check things out, lots of farmers, fresh pasta and breads, etc. No potters though….yippy I might have a niche here? We’ll see, I am hoping for folks to take my business card, maybe be back next time ( I signed up for 3 Sat’s). I am also hoping to walk away with a few hundred in sales? Dreamer!
Oh and a side note, rather humorous, my dog Otter was caught red pawed today. He is supposed to be eating a little less( weight issue) and I was wondering why the birds were eating so many of my raspberries? Well, yup it’s OTTER eating the raspberries and he’s rather “sneaky” in how he does it. I caught him while looking out a window, because he stops when I enter the backyard. <G> If I can, I will try and take a picture of him eating my raspberries. . . .
