The Earth Tones on the pie plate are a NEW glaze I am trying out! Hummmmm I like it!

New Glaze and it’s a tuff one to photograph. It has “earth tone” colors (tan,brown,black,) with a splash of color including purple,blue,creams,etc.

Looks much better in person than on this slide. Really rich and creamy!

Getting ready for the Holidays!

Some Larger bowls on stems for the Holidays along with Square shaped baking dishes and casseroles wih flat lids!

The Bowls are typically Round but I was goning for a more festive look this winter. I like this shape a bit more as it looks like a FLOWER BOWL. Anyways It’s a bit different for me and I am diggin it!

New SOUP Mugs or maybe large coffee Mugs?

I have been wanting to make SOUP mugs with a different handle. Seriously, there’s not alot of changes you can make on a soup bowl but I thought these might work. . . Could pass for a large Coffee Mug as well since they ‘HUG” your hand? or Chilli bowl?

Still making casserole/baking dishes or possible warmers for tortillia’s

FLAT lids with air holes!~

I enjoy baking with FLAT LIDS. I have heard some potters think a rounded lid is better but I think the flat lid with air holes works well or just as good? I also used lids mostly to keep things “HOT” and that maybe another reason. Still they fit better in my cabinets as well and I can turn the lid upside down and store more bowls on top. I like the designs I can do on Flat lids as well.

New Soup/mugs for Stable Grounds Coffee

The NEW coffee shop located at the Colorado Horse Park asked for some “more”mugs. This time, Wide soup/coffee mugs with plates. Here is the first one completed with the plates drying . . . . .
